The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) supports municipalities that seek to create a fragrant town by introducing in their town planning the idea of pleasantly scented environments. The MOE invites proposals from municipalities that aim to create fragrant and environment-friendly towns by planting fragrant trees. Municipalities which submit outstanding proposals will be given seedlings of scented trees. The MOE will release the names of awardees and all other applicants in recognition of their efforts in planning a fragrant and environment-friendly town.
