The selection of target verification technologies for the ETV Project on Heat-Island Mitigation Technologies - Air Conditioning Systems by Ground Source Heat Pumps Using Underground Heat or Wastewater in FY2009.

The Geo-Heat Promotion Association of Japan has selected three target verification technologies for the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Project on Heat-Island Mitigation Technologies to Reduce Anthropogenic Waste Heat from Offices and Housings - Air Conditioning System by Ground Source Heat Pumps Using Underground Heat or Wastewater in FY2009. The Ministry of the Environment of Japan (MOE) has approved this selection.

The ETV Project is a program launched by the MOE in FY2008 in order to undertake the trial implementation of advanced environmental technologies and objectively verify their performances based on the experience of pilot projects from the FY2003 ETV.
