The formulation of a Verification Tests Protocol and Invitation for apply Verification Organizations of the ETV Project concerning Heat-Island Mitigation Technologies to Reduce Air Conditioning and Other Loads by Using Building Envelope Systems in FY2009.

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) adopted the Protocol (second version) for Verification Tests in the Project of the Environmental Technology Verification Concerning Heat-Island Mitigation Technologies to Reduce Air Conditioning and Other Loads by Using Building Envelope Systems in FY2009. The Verification Management Organizations, the Japanese Testing Center for Construction Materials, has started to invite applications for any verification organizations for this project; the closing date for the acceptance of applications will be July 2, 2009.

The ETV Project is a program launched by the MOE in FY2008 in order to undertake the trial implementation of advanced environmental technologies and objectively verify their performances based on the experience of pilot projects from the FY2003 ETV.
