Selection Results of the Verification Management Organizations for the FY 2009 ETV Project in the Field of Heat-Island Mitigation Technology (for Reducing the Air Conditioning Load using Building Envelope Systems, etc).

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) selected The Japan Testing Center for Construction Materials as the verification management organization for the FY 2009 Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Project in the field of heat-island mitigation technology (technologies for reducing the air conditioning load using building envelope systems, etc).

The ETV Project is a program which was launched by the MOE in FY 2008 in order to undertake the implementation of advanced environmental technologies and objectively verify their performances based on the experiences from the FY 2003 ETV Pilot Project.
