The 13th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP13)

State Minister Seki attended CBD COP13 in Cancun, Mexico. He committed acceleration of work by Japan to achieveing the Aichi Biodiversity Targets towards 2020 at the high-level segment, and made a statement on behalf of the Asia-Pacific region at the opening ceremony. He also had some bilaterial meetings with ministers/representatives of other parties and international organizations, and attended related events as well.
