Mr. Ishihara, Minister of the Environment, attended the 16th Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting among Korea, China and Japan (TEMM16) held in Daegu, Korea.

Air pollution problem including PM2.5 was discussed as the most important issue in TEMM16. As a result, the Ministers of three countries regarded improvement of air quality as one of the top priorities of tripartite cooperation in the next five years and adopted the joint communique which involves the concrete content for future cooperation.
