Exchange of views on PET bottle recycling efforts

Parliamentary Vice-Minister Miyazaki was briefed by Ms. Miyoko Tanaka, Vice President of Coca-Cola (Japan) Company, Limited, on the "Bottle to Bottle" initiative to recycle used PET bottles as new PET bottles, and the reduction of plastic waste and CO2 emissions through the introduction of label-less packaging. Participants also exchanged opinions to promote the transition to a circular economy.
