Minister Koizumi presented Japan's efforts toward a net-zero carbon society by 2050 at the Global Environment Action (GEA) International Conference on December 14. The conference was attended by Their Majesties the Emperor and the Empress, as well as experts such as the 2019 Nobel laureate in Chemistry Yoshino Akira.
