Minister Koizumi chaired the Ministerial Meeting of the Online Platform for Sustainable and Resilient Recovery from COVID-19. Japan chaired the ministerial meeting on climate change for the first time since COP3 when the Kyoto Protocol was adopted. Ninety-six countries participated in this meeting, including by way of video messages and written statements.
