Pre-COP24 (UN Climate Change Conference) Meeting between MOE Japan and Leading Environmental Organizations

MOE organized the meeting with local leading environmental organizations ahead of the COP24 in Katowice, Poland in December. They discussed the roles of non-state actors in climate change governance, the collaboration between state and non-state actors, and the need for non-state actors to follow good practices such as clear target setting and better reporting and monitoring.
