Official Lighting Ceremony of the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens

The outer gardens of the Imperial Palace, normally dark at night, were lit up in a new government initiative. The lighting in the palace outer gardens had been renewed since 2016. Many gathered to celebrate the occasion and the winter illumination in Tokyo's Marunouchi area.
