24th Conference of the Parties to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP24) in Katowice, Poland

Minister Harada expressed his expectation for Japan's upgraded GHG Observation Satellite to bring much improved accuracy of observations, to promote climate change measures and to advance scientific knowledge on global warming. At the end of the COP24, ministers and delegates celebrated the successful adoption of the implementation guidelines for the Paris Agreement, "Katowice Climate Package".
