10-Year Anniversary of the Revival of the Japanese Crested Ibis "Toki" on Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture

Minister Harada attended the the 10th Anniversary of the Reintroduction of Toki, with HIH Princess Mako of Akishino and Consul General SUN Dagang (孙大刚: Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Niigata) in attendance. Awards were granted to 7 organizations in recognition of important contributions to preserve the prosperous and biodiverse Sado Island for future generations.
