Minister Koizumi's Visit to Disaster-Hit Areas of Typhoon No. 19 (Hagibis) in Nagano

Together with Defense Minister Taro Kono, Minister Koizumi visited Nagano-city, which suffered extensive flood damage after a typhoon 19's record-breaking rains breached levees along the Chikuma River. Volunteers, municipalities, Self-Defense Forces (SDF), and MOE personnel coordinated efforts to quickly clear the disaster waste under an initiative called "One Nagano".
