The Amihari-Onsen Ski Resort is located on the southwestern foot of Mt. Iwate, on the premises of Kyukamura Iwate Amihari-Onsen. About 3,000 meters course running from 1,350 m above sea level makes use of natural topography and features the natural environment, such as abundant powder snow and frost covered trees.

It is also the starting point for backcountry skiing at Mt. Iwate and Mt. Hachimantai.

  • Approx. 40 min. from Morioka IC via Koiwai Farm
  • From the bus stop No. 10 at the east exit of Morioka Station, take Iwate Prefectural Transportation Bus (Iwate-ken Kotsu) for “Amihari Onsen.” After about 60 minutes bus ride, get off at terminal.
