Publication of articles on national parks of Japan on Google Arts & Culture
Google's “Google Arts & Culture” platform, launched in 2011, allows users to view images and videos of history, science and art museums around the world online, based on partnerships with these museums.
Google has now released a webpage on the platform that introduces with photos the beautiful scenery of Japan's national parks, traditional culture and food nurtured by the nature, lifestyles of the people unique to the region, and residents working on conserving the natural environment (the page is available in English and Japanese).
As part of the “Project to Fully Enjoy National Parks”, the Ministry of the Environment (MOE), Japan has been promoting the sharing of information on Japan's national parks, both domestically and internationally. On this occasion, MOE Japan has cooperated with Google in publishing these articles on “Google Arts & Culture” by providing materials, etc.
