Publication of the Final Report of the IAEA Experts Meeting on Volume Reduction and Recycling of Removed Soil Arising from Decontamination Activities

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE), Japan, publicizes the final report of the IAEA Experts Meeting on Volume Reduction and Recycling of Removed Soil Arising from Decontamination Activities, which was compiled by the IAEA and submitted to MOE Japan. The meeting was held by the IAEA in cooperation with MOE Japan three times from May 2023 to February 2024.

Summary

The IAEA Experts Meeting was held in cooperation with MOE Japan three times from May 2023 to February 2024, to assess and advise on measures taken by MOE Japan concerning the recycling of removed soil etc.
 
MOE Japan publicizes the final report of the IAEA Experts Meeting received from the IAEA, which summarizes the views exchanged between the IAEA experts and MOE Japan. This report is also made available by the IAEA.
