 Outcomes of the G20 Environment and Climate Sustainability Ministers Meeting

  On July 28, 2023, the G20 Environment and Climate Sustainability Ministers Meeting was held in Chennai, India.
  The meeting was chaired by India’s G20 Presidency who held discussions and consolidated the Outcome Document and Chair’s Summary. From Japan, NISHIMURA Akihiro, Minister of the Environment, and NAGAMINE Makoto, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry attended the meeting with other Japanese delegates. 
  Additionally, Minister Nishimura exchanged views with 17 ministerial-level representatives (14 countries).
