The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) of Japan is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Tenth Global Conference of the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI‑10), held from March 3 to 5, 2026 in Riobamba, the Republic of Ecuador. Sustainable Value Chain Development
The AIP will be published on IPSI HP(https://satoyamainitiative.org/) in due course.
(2) Review of Progress Since IPSI‑9
Participants reviewed progress since the Ninth Global Conference held in Akita, Japan, in 2023, and discussed priorities for strengthening collaboration among IPSI members and partner organizations.
(3) Public Forum on Conservation in Mountain Landscapes and Sustainable Ecotourism
A hybrid-format Public Forum was held on March 4 under the theme “Conservation in Mountain Landscapes and Sustainable Ecotourism”.
