Forum on Advancing Article 6 Implementation through Business Engagement and JCM Project Matchmaking in Mongolia
The Ministry of the Environment of Japan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Mongolia, will host the “Forum on Advancing Article 6 Implementation through Business Engagement and JCM Project Matchmaking in Mongolia” on February 27, 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The forum aims to promote the implementation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement through the JCM and enhance business matchmaking opportunities.
This forum is designed to deepen understanding of the implementation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and accelerate the development of JCM projects in Mongolia.
Discussions will be held on the latest JCM developments—including bilateral frameworks, project cycles, credit issuance procedures, and methodologies.
Additionally, innovative technologies and nature-based solutions that contribute to Mongolia’s decarbonization and climate goals will be introduced.
The event will also feature business pitch presentations and one-on-one business meetings by companies offering JCM-related technologies and solutions, promoting concrete project development among stakeholders from both Japan and Mongolia.
