Announcement of the "Japan’s Initiatives to Address Climate Change 2025”
1. At the thirtieth Conference of the Parties of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP30), held in the Federative Republic of Brazil, ISHIHARA Hirotaka, Minister of the Environment of Japan, announced the "Japan’s Initiatives to Address Climate Change 2025” as a Japan’s contribution to climate action.
2. Japan will contribute to decarbonization in Asia and globally, by utilizing 1) synergies with nature, 2) solutions from market mechanisms and new technologies, and 3) enhanced transparency through inventories, based on the initiatives.
