Outcomes of the G20 Environment and Climate Ministers’ Meeting (Second Announcement)

The G20 Environment and Climate Ministers’ Meeting was held on August 31, 2022 in Bali, Indonesia under the Indonesian Presidency. From Japan, NISHIMURA Akihiro, Minister of the Environment, and NAGAMINE Makoto, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry participated in the meeting with other Japanese delegates.
 
The Indonesian Presidency has issued the Chair’s Summary based on the discussions.

In addition, Minister Nishimura had bilateral meetings with G20 Ministers (16 countries in total) and representatives of 2 international organizations.
