The Cabinet approved, as of today, a Bill on Asbestos Health Damage Relief (hereinafter referred to as "the Bill"). The Bill envisions a new legal framework to give relief to those who are suffering from health damage induced by asbestos as well as to family members of those who died from such damage. The relief is targeted at those who are not given relief within the existing legal system. The Bill aims at providing medical benefits, etc.
