Eco Car World 2009 (Low Emission Vehicle Fair) to be held
The Ministry of the Environment will be organizing the "Eco Car World 2009" fair in Yokohama from June 6th-7th, 2009 in order to enhance the public understanding and acceptance of low emission vehicles, which effectively prevent global warming and air pollution by nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) which are seen mainly in metropolitan areas. At the fair, various low emission vehicles will be exhibited and test-driven, and educational activities to enhance public awareness towards Eco Driving will be offered.
