Announcement of the Results of the Testing of Wild Birds for the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) Virus in October, 2008
The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has announced that it has tested all the samples of duck feces taken from 23 prefectures and 26 districts in October, 2008. The testing, conducted at the National Institute for Environmental Studies, found that all samples were negative for the HPAI virus.
