2008 International Symposium on the Environmental Risks of Chemicals
The 2008 International Symposium on the Environmental Risks of Chemicals will be held from 14 to 15 December 2008 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan.
On the first day of this symposium, "For Children Who Will Play Active Roles in Tomorrow's Society", will be addressed by keynote speech and video programs.
The second day will feature international sessions where experts will discuss topics such as "Frontier Study of Chemicals/Environmental factors affecting Allergies", "Epidemiological Studies on Children's Environmental Health: Worldwide Progress" and "Endocrine Disrupting Effects of Chemicals: Initiatives and Prospects".
Prior registration is required for participation in the symposium. Application forms (in English) can be found through the symposium website (http://www.congre.co.jp/ed2008). Registration closes on 5 December, 2008.
