Public Comments Invited Regarding Changes to the Planning of the Biwako Quasi-National Park

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) invites comments from a broad spectrum of the public regarding proposed changes to the planning of the Biwako Quasi-National Park. The change includes additions to the nature restoration facilities plan. An overview of comments received will be compiled and released to the public. These comments will also be reported to the Nature Conservation Committee of the Central Environment Council.

All written procedures related to this invitation for public comments are to be conducted in Japanese.

Therefore, comments should also be submitted in Japanese. Access to the drafts: the drafts (in Japanese) can be viewed at the Ministry of the Environment and Shiga prefectural Office (nature conservation sections). A summary of the drafts are posted on the web page of the Ministry of the Environment (https://www.env.go.jp/).
