The Schedule for the Trial Release of Crested Ibises into the Wild and their Commemorative Ceremony
The Ministry of the Environment, Niigata city and Sado city arrived at an agreement to hold the trial release of crested ibises into the Wild on September 25, 2008 in paddy fields near the Toki Reintroduction Center of Sado Toki Conservation Center. The Commemorative Ceremony will also be held at the sidelines of the event.
In addition, an Executive Committee for the Commemorative Ceremony of the Trial Release of Crested Ibis consisting of the Ministry of the Environment, Niigata city, Sado city and selected representatives of local residents will be held in Niigata city this afternoon to consider the program of events.
