Invitation for Participation in the FY 2008 Investigation of Inter-laboratory Comparison Analysis for Environmental Monitoring

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) invites participation of analysis organizations in the FY 2008 investigation of inter-laboratory comparison analysis for environmental monitoring.

The investigation items in FY 2008 are as follows.

<Basic investigation>
Elute samples of dust from an incineration plant: Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), Arsenic (As), Calcium (Ca)
Sewerage sludge sample: Chromium (Cr), Boron (B)
<Advanced investigation>
Imitated water sample: Organotin compound, Organochlorine compound
Dust sample from an incineration plant: Dioxin

The investigation of inter-laboratory comparison analysis for environmental monitoring is a program launched by the MOE in FY 1975 for the purpose of securing reliability of environmental measurement/analysis, improving accuracy and precision.
