Japan Chemicals Collaborative Knowledge Database (J-CHECK) Launched

In order to enhance the information infrastructure on chemicals safety, the Ministry of the Environment (MOE), Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) and the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry (METI) will renovate the Chemical Substances Control Law (CSCL) database. The database will be launched, today, under the name of J-CHECK, Japan Chemicals Collaborative Knowledge Database, and will be located within the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) wesbsite. J-CHECK is only in Japanese. An English version will be established by the three ministries in the future.
