The Initial Meeting of Asia-Pacific Gateway to Climate and Development and US-Japan Workshop on the Co-Benefits of Climate Change Actions in Asia Held

The initial meeting of Asia-Pacific Gateway to Climate and Development (AP Gateway) and US-Japan Workshop on the Co-Benefits of Climate Change Actions in Asia was held in Bangkok on April 23 and 22, respectively.
The AP Gateway is a joint initiative among MOE, UNESCAP, and OECC (Overseas Environment Cooperation Center), which intends to function as an information exchange platform for the formulation of adaptation and co-benefit projects.
Forty participants from fourteen countries gathered, for the initial meeting of the AP Gateway, and discussed how co-benefits and adaptation mainstreaming should be realized.
This US-Japan Workshop is held annually, and this year, topics, such as co-benefit projects in the transportation sector and co-benefit in the post-2012 context, were discussed.
