The Second Major Economies Meeting on Energy Security and Climate Change Held
The Second Major Economies Meeting on Energy Security and Climate Change was hosted by the United States of America on January 30th and 31st, 2008 in Hawaii.
The Japanese delegation was headed by Mutsuyoshi Nishimura, Special Advisor to the Cabinet. Ryutaro Yatsu, Counselor for Global Environment of the Ministry of the Environment also attended the conference.
Representatives agreed to have a technology workshop in March in Japan, and to hold the next meeting in May 2008, in France.
The result of the meeting and views of the Japanese delegation have been released in Japanese.
