FY2007 Prize winner announced at the Volatile Organic Compound Measure (Report)Commendation Ceremony

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) is making efforts for the improvement of air pollution caused by suspended particulate matters and the photochemical oxidants. Various policies combining laws and regulations together with voluntary actions are evidence to these efforts. The aim is to reduce VOC discharge from fixed outbreak sources by around 30 % by 2010 as compared to discharge amounts from 2000.
As part of these measures, commendations are given to business', individuals and groups taking the lead in such VOC exhaust control measures.
