Eco Car World 2008 (Low Emission Vehicle Fair) to Be Held

The Ministry of the Environment will organize the "Eco Car World 2008" fair in Kobe on May 17th-18th, 2008 and in Yokohama on June 7th-8th, 2008 in order to enhance public understanding and acceptance of low emission vehicles, which effectively prevent global warming and air pollution by nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) seen mainly in metropolitan areas. At the fair, various low emission vehicles will be exhibited and test-driven, and educational activities to enhance public awareness of Eco Driving will be offered.
