Third Publication of the Results of the Chemicals Classification Program Based on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS)

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) and other Ministries concerned have launched the Chemicals Classification Program based on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), for the purpose of assisting businesses to develop their Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and labels.

The MOE and other Ministries recently published the results of classification of 246 chemicals, out of approximately 1,500 target chemicals to be classified under the program.

Including our previous classification of 144 chemicals, we have so far completed the classification of 390 chemicals. We plan to classify the remaining chemicals and monthly publish the results until the end of this year.
