Publication of the Plan for Epidemiological Study and Research on Adults concerning the Influence of Regional Air Pollution on Health

The Ministry of the Environment will begin research on adults (some 200,000 adults living in the three major metropolitan areas of Kanto, Chukyo, and Kansai areas) beginning in the winter of 2007, in order to elucidate the correlation between regional air pollution along highways and respiratory illnesses.
