Public Comments Invited regarding Amendments to the Ministerial Ordinance for the Implementation of the Law for the Conservation of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) invites comments from a broad spectrum of the public regarding the forthcoming amendments to deregulate the following restrictions based on the Law for the Conservation of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
1) Restrictions regarding transfers of living individuals of endangered species of wild fauna and flora that are seized or impounded based on regulations of other laws or ordinances by national agencies and local authorities.
2) Restrictions regarding domestic distribution of ostriches (Struthio camelus).

An overview of comments received will be compiled and disclosed to the public. All procedures related to this invitation for public comments are to be conducted in Japanese. Therefore, comments should be submitted in Japanese.
