Launch of the Network for Strategic Response to International Chemical Management

The Network for Strategic Response to International Chemical Management was established on July 26, 2007. The Ministry of the Environment has participated in the Network as one of its founding board members. The objectives of the network are to improve the level of understanding chemical management; to enhance the capability of industry and other concerned parties to respond to initiatives in foreign countries on chemical management, such as REACH in Europe; and to accelerate the effort for international harmonization.
