Public Comments Invited regarding a ministerial ordinance partially amending the enforcement regulation for the law for the Promotion of Sorted Collection and Recycling of Containers and Packaging etc

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE), the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries have been examining a ministerial ordinance partially amending the enforcement regulation for the Law for the Promotion of Sorted Collection and Recycling of Containers and Packaging etc.
The proposed amendment provides details of "Financial Incentive(Fund from Businesses to Local Governments)"and adds the containers made of the polyethylene terephthalate as sorted packages for collection and recycling.
The MOE invites broad-based public commentary regarding these contents. Comments will be accepted from Thursday, June 14, 2007 to Friday, July 13.
All written procedures related to this invitation for public comment are to be conducted in Japanese. Therefore, comments should be submitted in Japanese.
