Establishment of "A Guide for Quality Assurance concerning Environmental Measurement of Dioxins (for Bioassays)" and Revision of the "Manual on Bioassays for Dioxins"

On February 20, 2006, the Ministry of the Environment released a draft of "A Guide for Quality Assurance concerning Environmental Measurement of Dioxins (for Bioassays)." The Ministry then invited broad-based public comment regarding this draft between February 20, 2006 and March 6, 2006, and received 25 comments from 6 individuals.
The Ministry of the Environment finalized the Guide taking these comments into consideration and publishes it today.

The Ministry of the Environment has made a necessary revision to the Manual on Bioassays for Dioxins in response to the establishment of the Guide.
