Public Invitation to the Program for the Establishment of a Regional System for Practical Use of Eco-Fuel, FY2007
The Ministry of the Environment has established a new program named the "Program for the Establishment of a Regional System for Practical Use of Eco-Fuel," in order to accelerate the spread of eco-fuel utilization in FY2007. For the implementation of this program, the Ministry invites entries from the public from March 2 through March 30, 2007.
In this program, it is expected that gasoline blended with 3% bio-ethanol (E3) will be sold as fuel for automobiles, and that the means of managing the quality of the fuel at each stage from production to distribution will be verified. The social receptivity for E3 is also one of the important subjects to be tested in this program.
