Brief Report of the Findings from the Survey on Lives in Paddy Fields and Surrounding Environment: 2006, a Collaborative Project between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of the Environment

The following is a brief report of the findings from the Survey on Lives in Paddy Fields and Surrounding Environment: 2006, a collaborative project between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of the Environment.
This year, the survey of fish was conducted at 1,761 survey spots in 306 tracts of land and the survey of frogs was conducted at 367 survey spots in 300 tracts of land throughout Japan with the participation of 534 organizations. They have identified 95 fish species and 16 frog species.
