Announcement of the Results of Testing of Wild Birds for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) Virus in Shintomi-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has announced the results of testing of all samples of wild birds taken around the area of HPAI outbreak in Shintomi-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture. The testing conducted at the Animal Quarantine Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan (MAFF), National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), and the Osaka Prefecture University found that all samples were negative for HPAI virus.
