The 15th Environment Congress for Asia and the Pacific (ECO ASIA 2007) to be Held
The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) will convene the 15th Environment Congress for Asia and the Pacific (ECO ASIA 2007) on September 8th and 9th at JAL Resort Sea Hawk Hotel Fukuoka in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Nations in Asia-Pacific region and representatives of international organizations will participate in the meeting. The provisional main topics for discussion at ECO ASIA 2007 are "Promotion and Strengthening of International Partnership in Asia", "Asian Efforts to Address Global Environmental Issues" and other issues. It aims at promoting environmental cooperation in this region by providing a forum in which environmental ministers from countries in Asia can freely exchange views.
