Cabinet Decision on the "Cabinet Order on the Effective Date of the Act on Regulation, Etc. of Non-road Special Motor Vehicles" and the "Order for Enforcement of the Act on Regulation, Etc. of Non-road Special Motor Vehicles"

Regarding the enforcement of the Act on Regulation, Etc. of Non-road Special Motor Vehicles that was passed in May of 2005, two draft Cabinet Orders are expected to be adopted by the Cabinet on the 17th of March, 2006 (Friday).

The draft Cabinet Orders are as follows.
(1) The Cabinet Order providing the effective date of the act as April 1, 2006. (The provisions regarding the approval of specified engine types will be enforced on May 1, 2006.)
(2) The Cabinet Order providing the details as regards the definition, the labeling, etc. of non-road special motor vehicles and the fees for the inspection services, etc.
