Announcement of the Philippines-Japan Environmental Week

Summary
The Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ), and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) of the Philippines will jointly organize an online event "The Philippines-Japan Environmental Week" from March 2 (Wed.) to March 4 (Fri.), 2022. Attracting key speakers and participants from both the public and private sectors of Japan and the Philippines, the Environmental Week aims to provide opportunities to discuss environmental issues and share innovative and emerging environmental solutions. This event includes Bilateral Environmental Policy Dialogue (invitation only), online Seminars (webinars) on various topics and online Business Match and Exhibition.

Senior officials of MOEJ and DENR will discuss environmental issues such as climate change and waste management to enhance cooperation between both countries.

At the online Business Match and Exhibition, participants will be able to have the opportunity to learn about

environment-friendly technologies and solutions through a designated Exhibitors event webpage where individual communication with Exhibitors, videos introducing the technologies of Exhibitors and other useful information are available.
