The amendment to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Act on the Prevention of Adverse Ecological Impacts Caused by Designated Invasive Alien Species Relating to Spilocuscus maculatus.

As a result of being evaluated for Spilocuscus maculatus, which has been designated as an unidentified alien species, as unnecessary to be designated as an invasive alien species upon notification of import, based on "the Act on the Prevention of Adverse Ecological Impacts Caused by Designated Invasive Alien Species" (Act No.78 of 2004), "Regulations for Enforcement of the Act on the Prevention of Adverse Ecological Impacts Caused by Designated Invasive Alien Species" (Act No.2 of 2005, hereinafter "Regulations")was partially revised and published in today's official gazette.

These regulations will come into effect on August 13, 2021.

No opinions were submitted regarding the public comment conducted from June 4 to July 3, 2021.
