Public Comments invited regarding the amendment to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Act on the Prevention of Adverse Ecological Impacts Caused by Designated Invasive Alien Species.

As a result of decisions made that the Spilocuscus maculatus will not be designated as an invasive alien species, the amendment for "Regulations for Enforcement of the Act on the Prevention of Adverse Ecological Impacts Caused by Designated Invasive Alien Species" (Order of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and Ministry of the Environment No. 2 of 2005) will be revised. The MOE is inviting comments from the public regarding this amendment. Comments will be accepted from June 4 to July 3, 2021.

All procedures related to this invitation for public comments will be conducted in Japanese. Comments need to be submitted in Japanese.
