Cabinet Decision on Partial Amendment of Order for Enforcement of the Invasive Alien Species Act

Partial amendment of Order for Enforcement of the Act on the Prevention of Adverse Ecological Impacts Caused by Designated Invasive Alien Species was approved by the Cabinet today.
The following organisms are newly designated as Invasive Alien Species (IAS);
Lepisiota frauenfeldi, Solenopsis geminata species group, S. saevissima species group, S. tridens species group, S. virulens species group, any living hybrid organisms of species of S. geminata species group, S. saevissima species group, S. tridens species group and S. virulens species group, Dikerogammarus villosus, any species of the family Astacidae., any species of the family Cambaridae excluding Procambarus clarkii, any species of the family Cambaroididae excluding Cambaroides japonicus, any species of the family Parastacidae, Utricularia cf. platensis, U. inflata, and U. platensis.

The Cabinet Order will come into effect on November 2, 2020.
