Nature Conservation Committee of the Central Environment Council Reports on Changes regarding National and Quasi-national Parks

On December 1, 2006, the Natural Park Subcommittee and the Nature Conservation Committee of the Central Environment Council submitted reports to the Minister of the Environment regarding the following eight matters that had been referred for consultation by the Minister.

The reports covered the following matters (No.196-203):
No. 196 Changes in geographical coverage and park planning for Joshin'etsu Kogen National Park
No. 197 Change in park planning for Yoshino-Kumano National Park
No. 198 Changes in geographical coverage and park planning for Kirishima-Yaku National Park (Yakushima Area)
No. 199 Changes in geographical coverage and park planning for San'in Kaigan National Park
No. 200 Changes in geographical coverage and park planning for Kirishima-Yaku National Park (Kirishima Area)
No. 201 Changes in geographical coverage and park planning for Hida-Kiso Gawa Quasi-National Park
No. 202 Change in park planning for Mikawa Wan Quasi-National Park
No. 203 National park projects to be implemented and discontinued, and changes in ongoing projects
